To populate a renaming window with items to rename, do any of the following:
- If the items to be renamed are in a List window, select the items and choose the appropriate command from the toolbar item menu.
- If the File Buddy contexual menu is installed and the the desired renaming command is enabled, select the items you want to rename in the Finder and choose the command from the contextual menu.
- Drag the items to be renamed to File Buddy while pressing the Command key and choose the desired renaming option in the Select Action window pop-up.
- If you’ve selected the desired renaming option as the File Buddy default drop behavior, just drag items to be renamed to File Buddy in the Finder.
